The Lunar New Year officially kicked off on Feb. 12, ushering in the Year of the Ox. China marks each year with a different zodiac sign - rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig - and 2021 is the Year of the Ox, an animal known for being hardworking, honest, dependable, kind, even-tempered, and logical and never looking for praise. The Year of the Ox will last until Jan. 31, 2022, and past Ox years include 2009, 1997, 1985, 1973, 1961, 1949, 1937, 1925, and 1913.
